In case you are yet to check your diary/phone/calendar this morning, today is December 1, the highly-anticipated and hugely celebrated first day of Summer. Today signifies the beginning of  long balmy nights, deck parties under the stars, colourful cocktails, sun frocks and stone fruit, bikini’s in your bathroom, sand on the tiles and the smell of sunscreen, freshly mown lawns and coconut oil.
