Fisherman’s Bay, just 30 minutes from Port Moresby was the pristine location for this issue’s cover and fashion pages.  Featuring stunning Gold Coast model Anthea Page and a stack of designer swimsuits, we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off 2012 than with this sundrenched, summer-loving shoot.

Who is that girl:

Miss Anthea Page is a 20-year-old beauty from sunny GC. Anthea’s classic girl-next-door looks have seen her successfully work as a model for the past six years both in Australia and Asia. Now, the adventurous beauty is about to set off on the next leg of her career, first stop Paris, to test the waters in the European market. Although she realises she will need to spend periods of time away from her beloved home, the Gold Coast is where she would like to come back to.

“I just love the lifestyle of the Gold Coast,” says Anthea. “I love the chilled out atmosphere and the weather keeps me inspired to spend time outdoors.

Meet Brian Joyce:

Also a Gold Coast local, featured model Brian Joyce was in PNG working on another campaign when he offered to help out shooting with Anthea.

“Anthea was really easy to work with, the whole shoot didn’t feel like work, it was a lot of fun and the location at Fisherman’s Bay was stunning.”
