Ovarian cancer affects more than 1300 Australian women each year. 800 of these women will die from the disease. Arna Coward, a nurse at Pindara’s Emergency Department is fighting to change these statistics. Alzheimer’s Australia hosted their annual fundraising dinner in the Princeton Room at Bond University. The theme was ‘old Hollywood’ and guests dressed accordingly to enjoy a night of music and dancing in aid of a worthy cause. Special guest speaker, Ida Buttrose was a delight, along with David De Vito who sang beautifully.
Women in Tourism celebrated their 25 year anniversary with a bang at Hilton Surfers Paradise.
